Endgame Drills

Drills are used to sharpen your technique of pieces working together!!!

INSTRUCTIONS = To practice the endgame drills you will need two players and a chess clock. The player with only the king gets infinite time but the player with the mating material gets the goal time. If you don't have two players you can practice working through the positions on your own.

Remember to have fun and good luck!

Stage 1:
King with Rook and Queen vs King = The goal is to get checkmate no more than 10 seconds anywhere the king is on the board.

Stage 2 :
King and Queen vs King = The goal is to get checkmate no more than 15 seconds anywhere the king is on the board.

Stage 3:
King and Rook vs King = The goal is to get checkmate no more than 25 seconds anywhere the king is on the board.

Stage 4:
King with Both Bishops vs King = The goal is to get checkmate no more than 1 minutes anywhere the king is on the board.

Stage 5:
King with Knight and Bishop vs King = The goal is to get checkmate no more than in 2 minutes anywhere the king is on the board.
